This search tool allows you to search for records in a locality based on “tags” based on topical attributes. Tags are assigned by NESRI when records are indexed, and they are intended to identify records of potential special interest.  Examples include FSO for female enslavers, or SALE for a transaction involving the sale of an enslaved person, or CHILD for a sale of an enslaved child unaccompanied by a parent, or WRSP for records relating to churches. The displayed records have a “View Details” field so you can see the entire record. When you finish exploring one topic you can select another topic and do a new search.
